The spawn goes into full swing and the big egg laden females make their annual move. You can catch them shallow on plastics, if that's your thing or you can follow the Big Sticks out to the deeper water and fish for the real trophys as they stage for the annual ritual.

Big Slow Rolled Spinner Baits on the deep points produce Big Fish! Deep Cranks, Swim Baits and Jerk Baits produce their share of the Trophys as well.

Don't forget your 1/2 oz Jigs with a plastic trailer...Yum Dingers...Lizards and 10" worms.

As the spawn comes to an end the fishing moves to the rock ledges, humps, channels and drops. Huites has every kind of structure imaginable for the post spawn angler.
